Meet Our Team
Director

My name is Cassie Worley. I have been the Director at Interlaken Preschool since 2017. I hold a master's degree from Arizona State University. I am a training and development professional with over sixteen years of experience providing strength-based mentoring, technical support, and training to various educational programs. Much of my experience was also gained as a classroom teacher. It has been incredibly beneficial and a privilege to hold many different roles in the education field. This variety keeps me grounded and offers a well-rounded perspective. Although I have held various positions, my goal has always been to do what’s best for kids. I strive to live by our organizational values, and I believe my work reflects that. I am proud to be part of a team that values children's early childhood experiences. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my three daughters. I also enjoy soccer, reading in my free time, doing pilates, and spending time outdoors.
Teacher

I began my career and adventure in early childhood education when my own son Jason began preschool 10 years ago (wow…time sure does fly). Initially studying the methods of Maria Montessori, and expanding my knowledge of the Reggio Emilia approach and experiential learning ever since.
Over the past 5 years I have continued my teaching efforts, first as Program Coordinator for Powerful Schools at Hawthorne Elementary where our mission was to primarily promote the arts as tool for learning and empowerment, and on the Sound Child Care Solution’s “Relief Squad” supporting preschool classrooms at multiple sites around the Seattle area.
I embrace this same spirit of discovery in my daily life. Whether it be biking, rafting, skiing, skydiving, or adventures around the city (or chasing eclipses J). One hobby that has been close to my heart ever since I was a kid is photography. Mainly sunsets and nature, but really anything that catches my eye. I enjoy stopping to capture those moments of light, and changing perspectives.
It is with that joy, those moments of “ah ha” and discovery, that I strive to teach.
Teacher

My name is Ashli Joelle Tiller and I find it to be an honor to be your child’s teacher. I have my B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University Northridge and I have worked in the Early Childhood Education setting for over a decade. Working with small children is my passion and you, as a parent, trusting me with your treasure is something I don’t take lightly. When any child steps into my classroom I want them to have the space to learn, explore, and feel safe and secure. I also love music and I do like to have that element in my classroom. What I love most about this age group is how they also push you to continue to learn about the world around you. When I’m not in the classroom I usually enjoy spending time with my loved ones. As I bring this to a close I want to take this time to say thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be your child’s teacher and being a part of the most crucial part of their development. Oh also, my favorite color is purple and my favorite animal is an elephant. I know that’s random, but trust me that means something to preschoolers.
Teacher

My name is Jesly Morales and I am proud to call Seattle my new home. I have taught and enjoyed teaching in Reggio-inspired schools for more than 15 years now. I love helping children learn and grow, and have experience working with multi aged groups. I believe it is important to know each child's learning methods to help them achieve their goals. I am so thankful to be working with families who are involved in their children’s learning through the early years. I am happy to join a dedicated community of educators who are constantly learning.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy running, cooking, spending time with family, and hiking with my dog. I am an open minded, positive, motivating, energetic, and enthusiastic team member.
